If you were to enter our home through our garage you'd see a door mat imprinted with "Wipe Your Paws". I have seen similar door mats with sayings like "Warning! Dog Can't Hold Its Licker" and signs that warn of the dog's running speed, inquiring if you can leave as fast if you enter the premises without authorization.

Dogs have been an influence on great minds throughout history. The proof? Read on for some great quotes about man's best friend.

Hi Jamie, this is great! I love these quotes! Thanks for sharing them. I especially love # 4. I have two jack russell terriers, before that a beautiful black lab. Ny husband says our terrors will not go to be with Jettsie when they die. They are going to the bad place. ha! But he loves them dearly :-)
